Hello & Welcome to my sailing site. My name is Paul Hardaker and I set sail around the UK, single handed along with my African Grey Parrot Finlay, in May 2011 to raise awareness for Crohns & Colitis UK

I made the journey aboard my 27ft Jeanneau Fantasia yacht, which was renovated for the trip and I updated a regular video blog along the way to keep in touch with friends, family & supporters.. I left from Liverpool Marina in MAY 2011 and returned home after many days at sea in October 2011.

I have been nominated as an Olympic Torch bearer to represent Liverpool on the flames journey throughout the UK leading up to the Games in 2012.

I am planning another fundraising adventure around the UK coastline in spring 2013. Details to be posted soon!
